What is carboxytherapy?
Carboxytherapy is a breakthrough non-invasive method that is a scientific evolution in the field of cosmetics. It uses the power of carbon dioxide (CO₂) to stimulate the skin's natural processes. 1. Application of gel and mask: A thick layer of special gel is applied to the skin, on which a dry active mask is applied.
2. Chemical reaction: When the gel and the mask come into contact, carbon dioxide (CO₂) begins to be released, everything starts to foam slightly, you will hear bubbles popping.
3. CO₂ penetration: The released CO₂ penetrates through the pores into the skin, where it stimulates microcirculation and dilates the blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue.
4. Physiological response: The body responds with an increased supply of oxygen – the dilated blood vessels bring more oxygenated red blood cells to the treated area. As a result, the skin is better perfused, brighter, firmer and smoother. The effect also includes a slight smoothing of fine wrinkles.

1) Evaluation of skin tone improvement using VISIA-CR, Image-pro® 10.
